Pioneer’s painting services include functional organic & epoxy coatings designed to protect metal components from corrosion. C.A.R.C. paint is also a subset of this group. These coatings can also add lubricity or other engineering characteristics such as torque down specification, lubricity, high pressure wear, or long-term storage of parts in the field. We supply coating systems from many suppliers such as Magni, Doerken, Molykote, Whitford, and other name brands.
C.A.R.C. stands for Chemical Agent Resistant Coating. This process is used extensively on military vehicles and equipment. These coatings produce a non-porous surface which prevents chemical and biological contaminants from penetrating the coating allowing easy decontamination. Along with chemical resistance, C.A.R.C. also reduces and manages the infrared signature of the base material.
C.A.R.C. is available in tan, green, and black colors.
Pioneer also offers High Temperature Black paint which is a popular technology for military applications.

Powder Coating is a unique metal finish where dry powder made of resin, pigments, flow modifiers, and other curing agents is applied to a product using static electricity.
